WA160 is an environmentally friendly coating that uses water-based acrylic resin as the film-forming substance and anti-rust pigments and fillers as functional components, combining anti-rust and decorative functions. This product features high solid content at construction viscosity, low VOC content, and excellent anti-corrosion and decorative properties.

Application Guidelines

Surface Preparation
WH-WA160 is designed for direct application on steel surfaces pretreated by sandblasting to Sa2.5 grade in accordance with Swedish standard SIS 055900. All surfaces must be free of oil, moisture, or other contaminants before sandblasting. For questions, contact our company.
Mixing and Dilution
WH-WA160 must be stirred before use. Stir the base material until smooth and uniform, no more than 5 minutes. Dilution is generally not required or recommended, as excessive dilution may adversely affect construction and film performance. A variable-speed electric mixer is recommended.
Application
WH-WA160 can be applied by air spraying or airless spraying. When using airless equipment, a Graco 30:1 pump with a nozzle size of 0.43–0.58 mm is recommended to ensure good spray pattern. For optimal coating results, ensure equipment and fluid lines are clean and free of water and solvents, and achieve uniform film thickness. A recommended spray angle is 40°–70°. For roller application, use new short-fine nap rollers.

Safety Precautions

  • Warning: May cause eye and skin irritation. Vapors may cause respiratory irritation in sensitive individuals. May cause skin allergic reactions. Avoid inhaling vapors. Do not contact eyes or skin.
  • Use protective equipment for eyes, ears, and skin. Wear a suitable respirator to prevent potential respiratory irritation.
  • After use, thoroughly wash skin with water. If discomfort occurs, consult a physician. Wash clothing before reuse.
  • In case of respiratory arrest, perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and seek medical attention immediately. If contact with eyes occurs, flush with 清水 (clean water) for at least 15 minutes and seek immediate medical care.
