Application Guidelines

Surface Preparation

• Galvanized Surfaces: Remove dust, oil, and grease with appropriate cleaners. Use high-pressure freshwater to rinse off salts and other contaminants. Scrub with a stiff nylon brush during high-pressure washing if necessary to remove white rust. Apply the coating as soon as possible to avoid recontamination.

Mixing and Dilution

• WH-EP112 is a two-pack product with a pre-defined component ratio. Use the entire contents of each bucket after thorough mixing.
• First, stir the base material until uniformly smooth (no more than 2 minutes), then slowly add the curing agent and stir for 3 minutes. A variable-speed power stirrer is recommended. Avoid over-stirring, as it may accelerate curing.

Construction

• WH-EP112 can be applied by conventional spraying, airless spraying, brush, or roller.
• Ventilation: Ensure good ventilation in enclosed spaces to protect construction personnel and maintain proper product performance.
• High temperatures shorten the pot life of the mixture, while low temperatures extend it. Dilution is generally unnecessary; if required, add a small amount of diluent (5% or less) in compliance with local VOC and air quality regulations.

Safety Precautions

• Warning: May cause eye and skin irritation. Vapors may trigger respiratory allergies in sensitive individuals and could cause skin allergic reactions. Avoid inhaling vapors. Keep away from eyes and skin. Wear protective gear for eyes, ears, and skin. Use a suitable respirator to prevent potential respiratory irritation. Thoroughly wash skin after use. Launder contaminated clothing before reuse. In case of respiratory arrest, perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and seek immediate medical attention.
• Burn Risk: Exothermic reactions may generate heat during product use. Wear gloves and handle with care after mixing.
• First Aid: In case of eye contact, flush with clean water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes, and wash affected skin with soap.
