Overview

WH-AC761 is a topcoat formulated with acrylic resin, non-chlorinated plasticizer, and flash aluminum silver paste. It boasts excellent light and color retention, fast-drying properties, and seawater resistance. Designed as the topcoat in acrylic and chlorinated rubber coating systems, it is suitable for medium to severe corrosion environments.

Application Guidelines

Surface Preparation
AC761 is designed for application on surfaces free of grease, dry soil, dust, moisture, and other contaminants, with a properly applied primer. Contact local offices for questions.
Mixing & Dilution
AC761 is a single-pack product. Stir thoroughly for 2-3 minutes to achieve uniform consistency. Dilution is generally unnecessary; if required for application, add a small amount of thinner (≤5%) in compliance with local VOC and air quality regulations.
Application
Apply via conventional spraying, rolling, or airless spraying. Use a nozzle size of 0.33-0.48mm and outlet pressure of 15 MPa. Ensure equipment and fluid lines are clean and free of water and solvents to achieve proper and uniform film thickness. For optimal performance, avoid excessive film thickness.

Ventilation: Good ventilation in enclosed areas is critical for applicator safety and product performance.

Safety Precautions

  • Warning: May cause eye and skin irritation. Vapors may irritate the respiratory tract of sensitive individuals and may cause skin allergic reactions.
  • Avoid inhaling vapors. Keep away from eyes and skin. Use eye, ear, and skin protection equipment, and appropriate respiratory masks to prevent potential respiratory irritation.
  • Wash skin thoroughly with water after use. Consult a physician if discomfort occurs. Wash clothing before reuse.
  • In case of respiratory arrest, perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and seek medical attention immediately.
  • If contact with eyes occurs, flush with water for at least 15 minutes and seek immediate medical care.
