WH-AF162 is a self-polishing long-acting antifouling coating based on acrylic copolymer and cuprous oxide.

Application Guidelines

Surface Preparation
WH-AF162 is designed for application over clean, dry primer coats or intact self-polishing antifouling coatings. Remove surface contaminants thoroughly with high-pressure water. Contact local offices for special cases.
Mixing & Dilution
Stir the product thoroughly before application. Dilution is generally unnecessary; if required for application purposes, add a small amount of thinner (5% or less) in compliance with local VOC and air quality regulations.
Application
  • Methods: Brush, roller, or airless spraying.
  • Airless spraying parameters: Nozzle 0.69–0.79 mm, outlet pressure 27 MPa.
  • Critical film thickness control: Film thickness directly affects service life.

Safety Precautions

Warning: May cause eye and skin irritation. Vapors may irritate the respiratory tract of sensitive individuals and may induce skin allergic reactions. Avoid inhaling vapors. Keep away from eyes and skin. Use eye, ear, and skin protection equipment, and appropriate respiratory masks to prevent potential respiratory irritation. Wash skin thoroughly with water after use. Consult a physician if discomfort occurs. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. For breathing emergencies, perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and seek medical help immediately.

First Aid: In case of eye contact, flush with water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes, and wash affected skin with soap.
