Application Guidelines

Surface Preparation

Before applying WH-PU061, the substrate must be free of grease, dust, moisture, and other contaminants, and properly primed. To ensure film appearance, the primer should be smooth and free of surface defects such as dry spray or orange peel.

Mixing and Thinning

WH-PU061 is a two-component product requiring precise component ratio. Thoroughly mix the entire contents of each paint bucket before use. First, stir the base material until uniformly smooth (no more than 2 minutes), then slowly add the curing agent and stir for 3 minutes. A variable-speed power stirrer is recommended. Avoid over-stirring, as this may accelerate curing and shorten pot life. High temperatures reduce pot life, while low temperatures extend it. Thinning is generally unnecessary; if required, add a small amount of thinner (5% or less) in compliance with local VOC and air quality regulations.

Application

WH-PU061 can be applied by airless spraying, roller coating, or conventional spraying.
Ventilation: Maintaining good ventilation in enclosed spaces is critical for applicator safety and product performance. Air must be dry, as coating should not be performed at humidity exceeding 85%.

Safety Measures

Warning: Causes eye and skin irritation. Vapors may trigger respiratory allergies in sensitive individuals. May cause skin allergic reactions. Avoid inhaling vapors. Keep away from eyes and skin. Use protective equipment for eyes, ears, and skin. Use a suitable respirator to prevent potential respiratory irritation. Thoroughly wash skin after use. Launder contaminated clothing before reuse. In case of respiratory arrest, perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and seek immediate medical attention.
First Aid: In case of eye contact, flush with water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes, and wash affected skin with soap.
