Wanhua Impact-Resistant and Abrasion-Resistant Epoxy Mortar is a new type of polymer alloy material composed of island-type modified epoxy resin, environmentally friendly reactive diluent, hydrophilic aliphatic amine composite curing agent, nano-wear-resistant inorganic filler, anti-ultraviolet filler additives, etc. It has the advantages of good mechanical properties, strong resistance to suspended sediment wear, good weather resistance, and insensitivity to moisture. It is recommended for the impact-resistant and abrasion-resistant protection treatment of concrete surfaces, the treatment of defects such as uneven bubbles and pockmarked surfaces, and can also be used for the coating treatment of the entire concrete surface.

Precautions for Use

  • Base Surface Treatment: Clean loose particles, debris, and stains on the concrete surface, rinse with high-pressure water, and let it dry naturally.
  • Spot Scraper Treatment: To ensure uniform spreading without bubbles when scraping the base surface, it is necessary to ream and spot scrape small holes on the base surface. The spot scraping material can be epoxy mortar.
  • Material Preparation: Mix component A and component B in a weight ratio of A:B = 4:1, and stir thoroughly for 2 - 3 minutes until completely uniform. When the mixing amount is large, mechanical stirring (low speed of 600 revolutions per minute) can be used. To avoid preparation errors, it is advisable to mix the entire sets of component A and component B.
  • Coating and Scraping Construction: Perform the coating construction within the workable time. For those with requirements for thickness increase, it is necessary to carry out scraping construction in multiple times. The single - time thickness should not be too thick, and the next layer can be constructed only after the previous layer is cured.
  • Curing: The curing time of epoxy mortar depends on the ambient temperature, preparation quantity, and coating thickness. Usually, it is 7 days of dry curing (25°C), and the curing time needs to be appropriately extended at low temperatures.

 

The buyer must conduct tests in an environment consistent with the construction conditions before the formal project construction to ensure the reliability of the composite material system for use in this specific project. During formal construction, it is considered that the buyer has recognized the qualified performance inspection of the product. If the above operations are not followed, all responsibilities shall be borne by the buyer.

Packaging Specifications

Component A is packaged in 16kg or 4kg barrels, and component B is packaged in 4kg or 1kg barrels.

Store in a cool and dry place.

Shelf Life

Stored in a dry and cool indoor environment under sealed conditions, the shelf life is not less than 12 months.
