Wanhua solvent-free epoxy grouting material is a two-component, solvent-free epoxy chemical grouting material. It has the characteristics of high strength, low shrinkage, corrosion resistance, and strong adhesion to concrete and metal. It is a grouting material for strengthening and reinforcing concrete and rock. The solvent-free epoxy grouting material is insensitive to humid environments, has a long operating time, and rapid strength gain.

Precautions for Use

  • Clean the joint surface: Remove surface calcium decomposition products and other debris, and blow away impurities in the drilled holes and joint grooves with compressed air.
  • Drill grouting holes and install grouting pipes: Drill through the joint surface vertically or at an angle and install pipes. When the grouting pressure is not high, high-strength and fast-drying epoxy mortar or epoxy putty can also be used to paste grouting boxes along the joint surface. The spacing of grouting holes should be , which can be adjusted appropriately according to the width of the crack.
  • Seal the joint surface: To prevent slurry leakage, the joint surface can be sealed with high-strength epoxy mortar or putty. It is also possible to chisel a square groove along the joint, fill and smooth it with high-strength cement mortar or polymer cement mortar, and then apply a coat of high-strength epoxy adhesive after drying.
  • Check the leakage prevention effect: Brush soapy water on the joint surface and use compressed air to check the sealing conditions of the grouting holes and the joint surface. If air leakage is found, the leaking parts should be sealed again.
  • Prepare the slurry: Generally, prepare the slurry according to the recommended ratio of A:B = 4:1 by the manufacturer. Stir for no less than 2 minutes to ensure uniform mixing. Determine the amount of slurry prepared at one time reasonably according to the grouting speed. The viscosity of the mixed slurry will gradually increase. Under the premise of meeting the grouting speed, it is advisable to prepare the slurry in small quantities and multiple times to ensure that the slurry is always injected at a low viscosity. If the reaction speed is too fast, the amount of Component B can be appropriately reduced, and the ratio of A:B can be adjusted between 3:1 and 6:1.
  • Grouting: The grouting pressure depends on the project requirements. For vertical cracks, grouting should be carried out from bottom to top. For horizontal cracks, grouting should be carried out from one end to the other end. Close the outlet when the slurry comes out to ensure that the entire joint surface is fully saturated with the slurry.
  • Trim the joint surface: 1 - 2 days after the slurry solidifies, remove the grouting pipes, preferably fill and level with mortar, and apply 1 - 2 coats of epoxy adhesive.
  • Before the official project construction, the buyer must conduct tests in an environment consistent with the construction conditions to ensure the reliability of the use of the composite material system in this specific project. During formal construction, it is considered that the buyer has recognized the qualified performance inspection of the product. If the above operations are not followed, all responsibilities shall be borne by the buyer.
