Application Guidelines
Surface Preparation
WH-AK161 is designed for application on surfaces free of grease, dry soil, dust, moisture, and other contaminants, with a properly applied primer. For optimal appearance, the primer or intermediate coat should be smooth without surface defects (e.g., uneven spraying or severe orange peel).
Mixing and Thinning
As a single-component product, stir thoroughly for 2–3 minutes to achieve uniform consistency.
Thinning is generally unnecessary. If required (e.g., due to local VOC regulations or air quality standards), add no more than 5% TH001 thinner.
Application
Applicable by conventional spray, roller, or airless spray (nozzle: 0.33–0.48 mm; pressure: 12–18 MPa).
Ensure spraying equipment and pipelines are clean and free of water/solvents. Maintain careful control to achieve uniform film thickness.
Ventilation: Adequate ventilation in enclosed areas is critical for worker safety and proper product performance. Ensure dry air, as application at humidity >85% is prohibited.
Safety Precautions
Warning:
May cause eye and skin irritation. Vapors may trigger respiratory irritation in sensitive individuals and potential skin allergic reactions.
Avoid inhaling vapors. Keep away from eyes and skin. Use eye/ear/skin protection and appropriate respiratory masks to prevent irritation.
Wash skin thoroughly with water after use. Consult a physician if discomfort occurs. Launder clothing before reuse.
In case of respiratory arrest, perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and seek immediate medical attention. First Aid:
If contact with eyes occurs, flush with 清水 (clean water) for at least 15 minutes and consult a doctor immediately.
