Application Guidelines

Surface Preparation

• The concrete must be cured for at least 28 days.
• The surface should be free of oil, loose particles, and other impurities.
• Can be applied on damp surfaces, but no standing water is allowed.

Mixing and Dilution

• As a two-component product, EP003 requires precise component ratio.
• Thoroughly mix all contents of each paint bucket together. A variable-speed power mixer is recommended. Avoid overmixing, as this will accelerate curing and shorten the product’s pot life.
• Add the curing agent and stir for 3 minutes.
• High temperatures will shorten the mixture’s pot life, while low temperatures will extend it.
• Dilution is generally not required. If necessary, add a small amount of thinner (5% or less), subject to local VOC and air quality regulations.

Safety Precautions

• Irritating to eyes and skin. Vapors may cause respiratory allergies in sensitive individuals. May cause skin allergic reactions.
• Avoid inhaling vapors. Do not contact eyes or skin. Wear protective equipment for ears, eyes, and skin.
• To avoid potential respiratory irritation, use a suitable respirator.
• Thoroughly wash skin after use. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
• First Aid: In case of eye contact, immediately flush with clean water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes, and wash the affected skin with soap. If breathing stops, perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and seek medical attention immediately.
