WANHUA HT300 is a heat-resistant coating composed of aluminum paste and silicone resin. After drying, it can withstand a maximum temperature of 300°C, making it suitable for protecting hot pipelines, exhaust pipes, chimneys, and other heat-sensitive surfaces.

  • Recoating Interval:
    • Minimum: 24 hours at 20°C, or 1 hour after heating to approximately 200°C

  • Storage and Shelf Life:
    • Store in compliance with national regulations, in a cool, well-ventilated place, avoiding excessive temperatures.
    • Tightly seal containers.
    • Shelf life: 1 year

Application Guidelines

  • Surface Preparation:
    • HT300 is designed for steel surfaces pretreated by sandblasting to meet Swedish standard SIS 055900 Sa2.5 or prepared with power tools.
    • All surfaces must be free of grease, moisture, and impurities before sandblasting.
    • For application over inorganic zinc coatings, ensure the surface is dry and free of zinc salts; for sprayed aluminum or zinc steel, ensure the surface is dry and free of contaminants.
  • Application Notes:
    • Film thickness: Avoid excessively thick films, as subsequent heat exposure may cause blistering. Diluent TH003 must be added during application to ensure a lower dry film thickness.
    • Full curing of HT300 requires curing at temperatures above 200°C for more than 5 days; otherwise, the paint will exhibit thermoplastic properties.
    • For high-temperature applications, the total dry film thickness of the coating system should preferably not exceed 75 microns.
    • Do not expose the film to heat before it is completely dry (at least 24 hours at 20°C).

Safety Measures

  • Pay attention to the warning labels on the packaging containers.
  • Use in a well-ventilated environment.
  • Avoid swallowing or inhaling paint mist.
  • Avoid skin contact. If paint accidentally comes into contact with skin, immediately clean with a suitable cleanser and soap. If paint gets into eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention immediately.
