Surface Preparation & Application Guidelines
- Surface Treatment:
Substrates (e.g., steel) must be pre-treated by sandblasting to meet Swedish standard SIS 055900 Sa2.5. Prior to sandblasting, all surfaces must be free of grease, moisture, and contaminants. For substrates coated with inorganic zinc paint, ensure they are dry and free of zinc salts. For aluminum/zinc-sprayed steel, ensure dryness and cleanliness. - Film Thickness:
Avoid excessively thick coatings, as heat exposure may cause blistering. Dilute with TH007 thinner during application to achieve lower dry film thickness. To fully cure HT410, cure at temperatures >200°C for at least 5 days; otherwise, the coating may retain thermoplastic properties. For high-temperature applications, the total dry film thickness of the coating system should preferably not exceed 75 μm. Do not expose the coating to heat until it is completely dry (at least 24 hours at 20°C).
Storage & Shelf Life
- Store in a cool, well-ventilated area away from excessive heat, in tightly sealed containers, in compliance with national regulations.
- Shelf life: 1 year.
Safety Precautions
- Read warning labels on packaging carefully.
- Use in well-ventilated environments.
- Avoid ingestion, inhalation of paint mist, and skin/eye contact.
- If paint contacts skin, wash immediately with appropriate cleanser and soap. If splashed into eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention immediately.
