Application Guidelines
Surface Preparation
- Stainless Steel/Container Steel Surfaces: Remove dust, grease, etc., with appropriate cleaning agents. Wash off salts and other contaminants with high-pressure fresh water, ensuring complete removal. For optimal adhesion, it is recommended to abrade the surface to increase roughness.
- Galvanized/Zinc Silicate/Metal Sprayed Surfaces: Clean with appropriate agents to remove dust and grease. Use high-pressure fresh water to eliminate salts and contaminants. Scrub with stiff nylon brushes when necessary to remove zinc bloom. Metal sprayed surfaces should be recoated promptly to prevent contamination.
Application Methods
- WH-EP180 can be applied by airless spraying, brush painting, or roller painting. Ensure good ventilation in confined spaces. Avoid painting in the presence of standing water or rain. When using airless spraying, a 0.58mm nozzle with an output pressure of 23 MPa is recommended for optimal spraying results.
Recoating Intervals
- Minimum: For container coating production lines with 40μm dry film thickness, allow at least 20 minutes of flash-off time before overcoating.
- Maximum: 24 hours for acrylic/chlorinated rubber coatings; 3 days for polyurethane topcoats; no maximum for epoxy coatings, but if the interval is excessively long, clean the surface to remove dirt, grease, and salts.

Wear protective gear for eyes, ears, and skin. Use appropriate respiratory protection to prevent potential respiratory irritation. Thoroughly wash skin after use. Launder clothing before reuse. In case of respiratory arrest, perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and seek immediate medical attention. If contact with eyes occurs, flush with water for at least 15 minutes and consult a physician promptly.
