Application Guidelines

Surface Preparation
WH-AK761 is designed for application on surfaces free of grease, dirt, dust, moisture, and other contaminants, with a properly applied primer. For optimal appearance, the primer or intermediate coat should be smooth and free of surface defects (e.g., uneven spraying or severe orange peel).
Mixing & Thinning
  • Mixing: As a single-component product, stir thoroughly for 2-3 minutes to achieve uniform consistency.
  • Thinning: Thinning is generally unnecessary. If required (e.g., due to local VOC regulations or air quality standards), add up to 5% TH001 thinner.
  • Application: Use conventional spraying, roller, or airless spraying. For airless spraying, use a 0.33-0.48 mm nozzle at 12-18 MPa pressure. Ensure equipment and pipelines are clean and free of water/solvents to achieve uniform film thickness.
Ventilation
Adequate ventilation in enclosed areas is critical for worker safety and proper product performance. Ensure dry air conditions, as application is prohibited at humidity >85%.

Safety Precautions

  • Hazards: May cause eye and skin irritation. Vapors may irritate respiratory tracts in sensitive individuals and may cause skin allergic reactions.
  • Protective Measures: Avoid inhaling vapors. Prevent contact with eyes and skin. Use eye/ear/skin protection and appropriate respiratory masks. Wash skin thoroughly after use. Launder clothing before reuse.
  • First Aid: In case of eye contact, flush with water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention immediately. For respiratory arrest, perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and consult a physician.
