Packaging, Storage, and Shelf Life

Application Guidelines
Surface Preparation
- Contaminant Removal: All release agents, oils, and other contaminants must be eliminated via sandblasting, thermal cleaning, or appropriate cleaning agents.
- Concrete Treatment:
- For mechanical methods: Use sandblasting, high-pressure freshwater jetting, or power tools to remove debris and create a rough, sound surface.
- For chemical methods (if mechanical treatment is unavailable):
- Pre-soak concrete with freshwater to protect steel reinforcement.
- Apply a 5% (by weight) nitric or phosphoric acid solution, let sit for 3–4 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with freshwater.
- Neutralize with a 5% (by weight) NaOH solution followed by freshwater rinsing.
- Post-Treatment Requirements:
- Surface must be smooth, rough, and free of loose materials, with a pH range of 6.5–8.0.
- Allow at least 2 days of ventilation drying (65% relative humidity, 20°C).
- Concrete must be fully cured (approximately 28 days for ordinary Portland cement) with surface moisture ≤4%.
- Ensure substrate temperature is above 10°C during application and curing.
- Quality control: Scratch the surface with a hard blade—only a clear, shallow mark should be visible, indicating a sound substrate.
Mixing and Dilution
- Mixing: Thoroughly blend the entire contents of each base material container. Add the curing agent and stir for 3 minutes using a variable-speed power mixer. Avoid overmixing to prevent accelerated curing.
- Dilution: Dilution is generally unnecessary. If required, use a maximum of 5% diluent, subject to local VOC and air quality regulations.
Safety Precautions
- Hazards: May irritate eyes and skin; vapors may cause respiratory allergies in sensitive individuals. Risk of skin allergic reaction.
- Protective Measures: Wear eye, skin, and respiratory protection (e.g., suitable respirator). Avoid inhalation of vapors and contact with eyes/skin.
- First Aid:
- In case of eye contact: Flush with 清水 (clean water) for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention.
- In case of skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing, wash skin with soap and water.
- If breathing stops: Provide artificial respiration and immediately consult a physician.
