Product Introduction
The polyurethane pad blends for cold storage use an ultra-low thermal conductivity environmentally friendly foaming agent. When used in combination with WANNATE®2208, foam products with high compressive strength, low thermal conductivity, almost zero water absorption, and extremely stable chemical properties can be obtained.
Product Usage
This blend system can be widely applied in areas such as the column feet of steel – structure cold storage and wall cold insulation, preventing cold leakage in cold storage and functioning properly throughout the design service life of the cold storage.
Before using the polyurethane pad blends for cold storage, tests must be conducted first to ensure the reliability of the blend system for producing specific products.

Precautions for Use
When storing the polyurethane pad blends for cold storage, avoid humid environments, keep away from water sources and heat sources. Try to avoid direct sunlight. The storage temperature should be kept below 50°C. Temperatures above 60°C will lead to a decline in product quality. Short – term temperature increases or decreases have little impact on product quality. However, it should be noted that the viscosity of the product will increase significantly at lower temperatures, which may cause certain difficulties during use. The use site should be a fire – prohibited area with good ventilation, keep away from fire sources, and smoking is strictly prohibited. When there is hot – work nearby, the hot – work approval system must be strictly implemented, and corresponding safety measures should be taken with special personnel on guard.
Before formal use, the buyer must conduct tests in an environment consistent with the production conditions to ensure the reliability of the blend system for producing specific products. When used formally in production, it is considered that the buyer has recognized the qualified performance inspection of the product. If the above operations are not followed, all responsibilities shall be borne by the buyer.

Storage (Use) Precautions
The blends should be stored in sealed containers to avoid absorbing water vapor. Therefore, during storage and transportation, the dryness and tightness of the containers must be ensured.
The polyurethane pad blends for cold storage should be stored in a sealed manner at room temperature between 5 – 35°C in a well – ventilated and cool place. Avoid direct sunlight or long – term storage above 40°C to prevent a large amount of foaming agent from volatilizing and affecting product performance.
Shelf Life
Under suitable storage conditions, the storage period of the polyurethane pad blends for cold storage is 6 months. After 6 months, it can be used continuously after passing the inspection.
Safety Precautions
Direct contact with the polyurethane pad blends for cold storage can cause moderate eye irritation and mild skin irritation, and may cause skin allergies. Repeated inhalation of high – concentration vapors can cause respiratory allergies. Seek medical attention immediately and take anti – inflammatory, anti – allergic and other symptomatic treatment measures.
During operation, be cautious to prevent direct contact with the skin and splashing into the eyes. Wear necessary protective equipment (gloves, safety glasses, work clothes, etc.).
Once it splashes onto the skin or into the eyes, rinse with clean water for at least 15 minutes. Wash the skin with soapy water and seek medical attention if necessary. In case of ingestion, seek medical attention immediately for symptomatic treatment.
Fire and Explosion Hazards
This product is not classified as a flammable liquid, explosive, oxidizer, corrosive, toxicant, or radioactive dangerous good during storage and transportation, and is not a dangerous good.
Fire – fighting Media: Carbon dioxide, foam, or chemical dry powder fire extinguishers can be used for fire – fighting. When there are no other fire – fighting agents available, a large amount of water mist can be sprayed. Once the fire is extinguished, the spilled materials should be cleaned up (see Leakage and Spillage Handling).

Leakage and Spillage Handling
Small amounts of leaked or spilled materials can be washed away with water. In case of a large leak, collect and recycle. Wash the contaminated ground with water or detergent. The disposal of waste blends must comply with local government environmental protection regulations.
