Application Guidelines

Surface Preparation

• The substrate must be free of grease, dust, moisture, and other contaminants, and properly primed.
• To ensure film appearance, the primer surface should be smooth and free of dry spray, orange peel, and other defects.

Mixing & Dilution

• As a two-component product, WH-PU261 requires correct component ratio. Use the entire contents of each paint bucket after proper mixing.
• First, stir the base material until uniform and smooth (no more than 2 minutes), then slowly add the curing agent and stir for 3 minutes. A variable-speed power stirrer is recommended.
• Avoid over-stirring to prevent accelerated curing and shortened pot life. High temperature shortens the pot life, while low temperature extends it.
• Dilution is generally not required. If necessary, add a small amount of diluent (5% or less) in compliance with local VOC and air quality regulations.

Application

• WH-PU261 can be applied by airless spraying, roller coating, or conventional spraying.
• Ventilation: Ensure good ventilation in enclosed spaces for applicator safety and proper product performance. The air must be dry, as application is not recommended at relative humidity >85%.

Safety Measures

• Warning: May cause eye and skin irritation. Vapors may trigger respiratory allergies in sensitive individuals and skin allergic reactions. Avoid inhaling vapors. Keep away from eyes and skin.
• Protective Equipment: Wear appropriate gear for eyes, ears, and skin. Use a suitable respirator to prevent potential respiratory irritation. Thoroughly wash skin after use. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
• First Aid: In case of eye contact, immediately flush with clean water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes, and wash affected skin with soap. If breathing stops, perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and seek medical attention immediately.
