4. Application Guidelines

Surface Preparation

Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and free of oil, dust, and moisture.
For wood substrates: Plane and sand the surface, remove resin exudates with solvents (e.g., toluene), and apply a mildew-proofing agent if necessary.
Wood moisture content should be <10% for decorative surfaces and <12% for combustible substrates.

Mixing & Application

SMT-S/WH01: Stir thoroughly before use. Dilute with water (≤5%) if needed for viscosity adjustment.
SMT-S/WH02: Mix base material and curing agent at a 1.8:1 weight ratio. Stir slowly to avoid air bubbles; use a variable-speed mixer if available.
Application methods:
- SMT-S/WH01: Suitable for airless spraying, brush, or roller application. Cross-stripe coating (horizontal + vertical) is recommended for full coverage.
- SMT-S/WH02: Use construction spray guns (not ordinary air 喷枪) due to high viscosity. Apply 2–3 coats; allow natural drying between coats.

Curing Conditions

Avoid rain within 24 hours after application.
For outdoor use, apply a topcoat to protect against UV aging (SMT-S/WH01) or water damage (SMT-S/WH02).

5. Safety Precautions

Wear protective gloves and goggles to avoid skin/eye contact and inhalation of paint mist.
Ensure good ventilation during application.

6. Storage & Shelf Life

Store in cool, dry, ventilated areas, away from high temperatures.
SMT-S/WH01: 6 months (sealed original packaging).
SMT-S/WH02: 1 year (sealed original packaging for each component).
