Precautions for Use

  1. The single-component moisture-proof and vapor-barrier coating for cold storage is a moisture-curing material. It should be stored in a sealed, dry, and cool place with good ventilation. Construction is not suitable on rainy days. Use, pour, and seal it immediately to prevent the material from solidifying and being scrapped.
  2. Before the formal construction of the project, the buyer must conduct tests in an environment consistent with the construction conditions to ensure the reliability of the material for use in this specific project. During formal construction, it is deemed that the buyer has approved the qualified performance inspection of the product. If the above operations are not followed, all responsibilities shall be borne by the buyer.

Precautions for Storage (Use)

  1. It should be stored in a sealed container to avoid absorbing water vapor. Therefore, during storage and transportation, the container must be kept dry and sealed.
  2. The single-component moisture-proof and vapor-barrier coating for cold storage should be stored in a sealed and cool place with good ventilation at a room temperature between 5 – 35°C, avoiding direct sunlight or long-term storage above 40°C to prevent the formation of insoluble solids and an increase in viscosity.

Shelf Life

From the date of production, under the specified storage conditions, the shelf life of the single-component moisture-proof and vapor-barrier coating for cold storage is 3 months. After 3 months, it can be used continuously if it passes the inspection.

Safety Precautions

  1. Direct contact with the single-component moisture-proof and vapor-barrier coating for cold storage can cause moderate eye irritation and mild skin irritation, and may cause skin allergies. Repeated inhalation of high-concentration vapors can cause respiratory allergies.   2. Fire-fighting Media: Carbon dioxide, foam, or chemical dry powder fire extinguishers can be used for fire-fighting. When there is no other fire extinguishing agent, a large amount of water mist can be sprayed. Once the fire is extinguished, clean up the spilled materials (see Leakage and Spillage Handling).
  3. Fire-fighting Procedures: Normal protection.

Leakage and Spillage Handling

  1. Small amounts of leaked or spilled materials can be washed away with water. In case of a large spill, collect and recycle it, and wash the contaminated ground with water or detergent. The disposal of waste combined materials must comply with local government environmental protection regulations.
