Tolonate HDB 75 MX

Tolonate™ HDB 75 MX is an aliphatic polyisocyanate biuret (HDI homopolymer) with 75% solids content, dissolved in a 1:1 (mass ratio) blend solvent of propylene glycol methyl ether acetate (PMA) and xylene.

Tolonate™ HDB 75 MX is commonly used as a crosslinker for hydroxyl‑containing polymers, especially polyester and polyacrylate polyols, to produce two‑component polyurethane coatings.It delivers excellent outdoor durability, mechanical properties, solvent resistance, abrasion resistance, and chemical resistance.

Tolonate™ HDB 75 MX is moisture‑sensitive. Store at room temperature in original packaging or containers protected by dry nitrogen.Recommended storage temperature: 0 – 30 °C.

 

Soluble in esters, ketones, and aromatic hydrocarbons; ester–aromatic hydrocarbon blends are commonly used.Use only urethane‑grade solvents (water content < 300 ppm) for dilution.Solids content after dilution shall not be lower than 40% to prevent clouding, precipitation, or gelation.

 

2 years when stored in the original unopened packaging at 25 °C.
