General Description and Recommended Applications

WH – WB165 Water – based Water – in – Water Intermediate Paint is formulated with acrylic copolymer emulsion, pigments, fillers, and additives. This product features a tough and durable film with strong adhesion, excellent water resistance, stain resistance, alkali resistance, and remarkable mildew resistance. When used in conjunction with Unico Sealing Primer, it offers excellent interlayer adhesion and protective performance. It is suitable for the decoration and renovation of various masonry structures and gypsum board walls, as well as for exterior wall insulation systems. It is used as the base color for water – based water – in – water and water – based sand – like decorative paints.

Surface Preparation

The surface to be painted must be fully dry, clean, free of oil, and other attachments. The pH value must be lower than 10. The structure should be flat, solid, and free of defects. When used as the topcoat for sealing primer, relief primer, or putty, it should be applied after the primer or putty is hard – dry. For walls with old paint films, the powdered and peeling paint films should be removed, washed clean with water, and dried before application.

Construction Conditions

Construct under normal and good conditions.

Precautions

Store the product in a cool, dry warehouse protected from direct sunlight, with a storage temperature not lower than 0°C.
Do not construct when the temperature is below 5°C or the relative humidity is above 85%.
Do not add other paints, organic solvents, or powders.
The shelf life of this product is one year at 20°C/68°F.
Read the instructions for use before construction.
Stir the paint thoroughly after opening the can.
If necessary, add an appropriate amount of water as specified, and do not over – dilute.
Avoid excessive paint on the brush or roller during construction.
Use up the opened product as soon as possible.
