Product Introduction

The polymer bonding mortar is made by pre-mixing and dry-blending high-quality portland cement, inorganic cementitious materials, various polymer materials, aggregates, and various additives. It has high tensile bond strength, good water resistance, aging resistance, and operability. It is easy to construct, safe and reliable, and environmentally friendly.

Construction Method

  1. Base Requirement: The base should be flat, solid, dry, and clean. The new plaster layer should be hardened and dried for at least 14 days before construction.
  2. The loose parts of the paint layer and plaster layer on the surface of the base wall must be removed. The newly painted plaster layer must be dried and hardened before use.
  3. First, add an appropriate amount of clean water into the container, and then pour the bonding mortar into it according to the proportion and stir thoroughly until it becomes a thick paste without lumps.
  4. The mixed mortar should be used up within 2 hours. If it hardens during the process, it should be discarded and not be added with water for secondary use.
  5. Apply the bonding mortar to the insulation board with a trowel, and then paste the insulation board onto the base wall from bottom to top by uniform kneading and pressing. The board surface should be flat, the board joints should be tightly pressed without gaps. Use a 2m straightedge to check the flatness, and there should be no adhesive between the board joints.

Precautions

  1. After the bonding mortar is mixed in proportion, the viscosity of the mortar can be adjusted according to the construction site conditions.
  2. The working environment temperature should be between 5°C – 35°C, and the wind force should be below level 5. Avoid construction in rainy days.
  3. When pasting the insulation board, knead and press it evenly, and do not pat or vibrate it.
  4. Within 48 hours after pasting, the next construction process cannot be carried out, and it should also avoid being touched, knocked, or vibrated.
  5. In case of wind force above level 5 or rainfall, protective measures should be taken.
  6. It is strictly prohibited to add sand, cement, and other additives at the construction site without permission.

The buyer must conduct tests in an environment consistent with the construction conditions before the formal construction of the project to ensure the reliability of the material used in this specific project. During formal construction, it is regarded that the buyer has recognized the qualified performance of the product. If the above operations are not followed, all responsibilities shall be borne by the buyer.

Storage Precautions

Store in a rain-proof, moisture-proof, and well-ventilated place.

Shelf Life

From the date of production, under the specified storage conditions, the shelf life is 12 months.

Safety Precautions

This product contains cement. If it gets into the eyes accidentally, rinse it thoroughly with clean water immediately or go to the hospital for treatment in time.

Combustion and Explosion Hazards

This product is not a flammable liquid, explosive, oxidizer, corrosive, toxic, or radioactive hazardous material during storage and transportation. It is not a hazardous product.

  • Fire-fighting Media: Carbon dioxide, foam, or chemical dry powder fire extinguishers can be used for fire-fighting. When there is no other fire extinguishing agent, a large amount of atomized water can be sprayed. Once the fire is extinguished, the spilled materials should be cleaned up (see Leakage and Spillage Handling).
  • Fire-fighting Procedures: Normal protection.

Leakage and Spillage Handling

Small amounts of leaked and spilled materials can be washed away with water. In case of a large amount of leakage, collect and recycle it, and wash the contaminated ground with water or detergent. The disposal of waste composite materials must comply with local government environmental protection regulations.
