WANNATE® HTBL-175S is a blocked polyisocyanate. It consists of 75% methyl ethyl ketoxime-blocked HDI polymer and 25% No. 100 aromatic solvent oil. It is a colorless or light yellow transparent liquid at room temperature with a slight pungent odor.

WANNATE® HTBL-175S is mainly used to formulate lightfast one-component polyurethane baking coatings; it can also be used as an additive in conventional baking systems to improve film flexibility and adhesion. The coatings exhibit excellent chemical resistance, weatherability, outstanding gloss retention and superior mechanical properties.
Coating systems formulated with WANNATE® HTBL-175S are suitable for baking applications, including automotive OEM coatings, can coatings, coil coatings, metal baking finishes, etc.

Storage and Handling Precautions
Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat sources. Keep containers tightly closed. Store separately from oxidizing agents, acids, alkalis, alcohols and food chemicals, no mixed storage. Recommended storage temperature: 0–30℃.
WANNATE® HTBL-175S is generally miscible with the following solvents, but the stability of the resulting solution must be tested. It can be diluted with ketones, esters, ether esters and aromatic solvents to a 40% solids solution (by weight). Aliphatic solvents are not allowed.
Compatibility
WANNATE® HTBL-175S is generally compatible with polyester polyols, polyether polyols and polyacrylates. Compatibility testing of the formulated solution is required.
Shelf Life
This product is moisture-sensitive. When stored in the original sealed container under cool and dry conditions at 0–30℃, elevated storage temperature will cause an increase in viscosity and color number. Under proper storage conditions, the shelf life is 9 months.
