WANNATE® THM-260BE is an aliphatic-aromatic polyisocyanate solution, consisting of 60% HDI-TDI trimer, 30% n-butyl acetate and 10% ethyl acetate as solvents. It is a colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid with a fruity odor at room temperature.

WANNATE® THM-260BE is an aliphatic-aromatic polyisocyanate solution, consisting of 60% HDI-TDI trimer, 30% n-butyl acetate and 10% ethyl acetate as solvents. It is a colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid with a fruity odor at room temperature.
As a raw material for polyurethane production, WANNATE® THM-260BE is mainly used as a curing agent component for two-component polyurethane wood coatings. The coatings feature fast drying, excellent chemical resistance and mechanical properties, as well as good weatherability and gloss retention. Ideal coreactants include polyacrylates, polyester polyols and alkyd resins.

Storage and Handling Precautions
Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flames. Keep containers tightly closed. Store separately from oxidizing agents, acids, alkalis, alcohols and food chemicals, and avoid mixed storage.
WANNATE® THM-260BE can be diluted with ester, ketone and aromatic solvents such as ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, methyl isobutyl ketone, cyclohexanone, toluene, xylene, etc. It generally has good miscibility with the above solvents, but the storage stability of the prepared solution must be tested. Only urethane-grade solvents (water content <0.05%, free of active groups such as hydroxyl or amino groups) shall be used. Aliphatic hydrocarbons are not suitable as solvents.
WANNATE® THM-260BE shall not be diluted to a solid content below 40%. Solutions with low binder content may become cloudy and precipitate after long-term storage.
Compatibility
WANNATE® THM-260BE is generally compatible with aliphatic polyisocyanates, aromatic polyisocyanates, polyether polyols and polyacrylates; however, the compatibility of the formulated solution needs to be tested.
Shelf Life
This product is sensitive to moisture. When stored in the original unopened container under cool and dry conditions at 0~30℃, the shelf life is 9 months.
