1. Product Application
WANNATE® IT-100 is a solvent-free product supplied in granular form. It is an alicyclic polyisocyanate featuring excellent light stability and non-yellowing properties. It can be used as a crosslinker for two-component polyurethane coatings and adhesives. It is soluble in various solvents and can also be supplied as a 70% solids solvent-borne solution.
WANNATE® IT-100 is also applicable for the production of blocked polyisocyanates or polyurethane resins, such as waterborne polyurethane dispersions (PUDs).
2. Solubility
WANNATE® IT-100 is soluble in all common aprotic solvents (acetone, esters, aromatic hydrocarbons, halogenated hydrocarbons, etc.). Solvents containing compounds reactive with isocyanate groups (e.g., alcohols, amines, and water) must be avoided. The water content of any solvent used shall be below 0.05%.

6. Storage & Handling Precautions
- Use stainless steel or ceramic containers.
- Operation is recommended in a nitrogen-blanketed sealed environment, or at least under dry air.
- After adding solvent, preheat to 50 ℃. Under stirring, add 30% of IT-100 first, stir for 30 minutes, then heat to 80 ℃. Add the remaining IT-100 in 2–3 portions until fully dissolved. Pump circulation may be used if stirring is unavailable.
- After complete dissolution, cool to room temperature and filter through a 10 μm screen.
- Purge the package with nitrogen or dry air during filling to avoid moisture.
7. Shelf Life
The product is moisture-sensitive. When stored in the original sealed container under cool and dry conditions (0–30 ℃), the shelf life is 12 months. In high-humidity environments, surface moisture absorption may occur, potentially causing bubbles during high-temperature application.
