WANAMINE®  2050  is  a  colorless  to  pale  yellow  solid  with  a  slight  ammonia  odor  at  room temperature.

WANAMINE® 2050 is mainly used in epoxy curing agents, coatings, polyamide materials and related fields.

Storage and Handling Precautions

WANAMINE® 2050 should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated place, away from sparks and heat sources; protect it from direct sunlight and keep the container tightly sealed. It should be stored separately from oxidizers, isocyanates, peroxides and strong acids — never store it together with incompatible materials. Do not store it in containers made of active metals, and do not freeze. Provide fire-fighting  equipment  of  appropriate type  and  quantity.  The  storage  area  should  be equipped with emergency spill-response equipment and suitable containment materials.

Recommended Melting Conditions

The product is liquid at room temperature. Under low-temperature conditions, partial crystallization and phase separation may occur. If this happens, the product should be heated at 70–80°C until it becomes clear. Please note the following during the melting process:

1. Recommendedmelting methods: oven, heating chamber, or water bath;
2. Prevent unevenheating or local overheating, which may cause drum swelling;
3. Open the drum slowly topreventmaterial splashing;
4. Prolongedheating time or excessive temperature may cause yellowing.

Shelf Life

When stored in the original sealed packaging under the specified storage conditions, the product has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of production. During storage, it must be kept away from heat sources and humid environments.
