Product Application

WANALINK® 6200 is a light‑yellow to deep‑amber liquid at ambient temperature.

WANALINK® 6200 is the trade name for 4,4’‑bis(sec‑butylamino)‑diphenylmethane, a liquid secondary diamine. The hydrogen atom on each amino group is substituted by a sec‑butyl group. The combination of active hydrogen atoms and sec‑butyl groups within its molecular structure delivers many unique properties. The amino moiety forms urea linkages that influence hard‑segment performance, while the butyl group acts as an internal plasticizer. Chemically bonded to the polymer matrix, it will neither leach out nor precipitate. Meanwhile, the alkyl group improves the solubility of the diamine, making it miscible with nearly all polyols and polyamines.

WANALINK® 6200 can be used in rigid foams, flexible foams, coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers. The typical dosage is 1‑5 % based on polyol weight. It is also applicable for spray polyurea and various repair compounds for metal and concrete substrates.

Storage & Handling Precautions

Store in properly‑labeled, tightly‑closed containers in a cool, well‑ventilated area away from ignition sources. Avoid eye contact, prolonged skin contact and vapor inhalation. Do not ingest. Welding and cutting equipment shall not be used near storage containers to prevent vapor deflagration hazards.

Shelf‑Life

When stored in original sealed containers under cool and dry conditions at 0‑30 °C, the product shelf‑life is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
