WANAMINE 1150

WANAMINE® 1150 is a mixture of MDA and polyphenyl polymethylene polyamines. It is a yellow viscous liquid or solid at ambient temperature. It is soluble in most organic solvents and hydrochloric acid, but insoluble in gasoline, methane and water.

WANAMINE® 1150 is an important chemical raw material. Besides being used for manufacturing MDI series products, it is also widely applied as an epoxy resin curing agent. Featuring high functionality and aromatic ring structure, WANAMINE® 1150 is especially suitable for producing epoxy resin articles with high strength, chemical resistance and high-temperature resistance. It delivers excellent resistance to water, acid, alkali and hydrocarbon solvents.

Storage Precautions

WANAMINE® 1150 shall be stored in a dry, ventilated and dark warehouse. Keep away from heat to prevent oxidation. Avoid package leakage, direct sunlight and rain exposure during transportation.

Recommended Melting Conditions for 1150

Low-temperature storage may cause partial crystallization or phase separation of the product. In such case, heat the product to 85–90°C until fully melted.

Shelf Life

When stored under specified conditions from the date of manufacture, the shelf life of WANAMINE® 1150 is 1 year. Product beyond shelf life may still be used if it meets the technical specifications after inspection.
