Storage Precautions
WANAMINE® 8100 may be stored in air at ambient temperature for a relatively long period. However, a nitrogen atmosphere is recommended for all storage conditions to mitigate the impacts of accidental high‑temperature exposure and reduce absorption of atmospheric moisture and carbon dioxide.
Store in the original container in a dry, cool and well‑ventilated area. Protect from direct sunlight and keep away from incompatible acids. Note that noticeable discoloration may occur at temperatures above 140 °F (60 °C), regardless of protective gas cushion. Do not store in unlabelled containers. The storage area shall be kept locked. Keep containers tightly closed and sealed before use.
Opened containers must be carefully resealed and stored in an upright position to prevent leakage. In case of product spillage, the area may be flushed with water. Incineration is the proper disposal method for waste materials, and local regulations must be strictly followed.
Shelf‑life
When stored under specified storage conditions from the date of manufacture, liquid WANAMINE® 8100 has a shelf‑life of 24 months. Products beyond shelf‑life may still be used if inspection confirms compliance with these technical specifications.
