Tolonate™ HDB 75 B is an aliphatic polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate biuret, with butyl acetate as solvent and 75% solids content. It differs from Tolonate™ HDB 75 MX in that it contains no aromatic solvents.

Applications
Tolonate™ HDB 75 B is commonly used as a crosslinker for two-component polyurethane coatings based on hydroxyl polymers, especially polyester and polypropylene polyols. It exhibits outstanding outdoor durability and mechanical properties, as well as excellent solvent resistance, abrasion resistance, and chemical resistance.
Main applications: automotive refinish coatings, general industrial coatings, and transportation coatings.

Storage and Handling Precautions
Tolonate™ HDB 75 B is moisture-sensitive. Store at room temperature in the original packaging or dry, nitrogen-purged containers. Recommended storage temperature: 0 – 30°C.
Compatibility
Soluble in esters, ketones, and aromatic hydrocarbons. In most cases, blends of esters and aromatic hydrocarbons are recommended. Use urethane-grade solvents (water content < 300 ppm) for dilution. Do not dilute to below 40% solids, as clouding, precipitation, or gelation may occur.
Shelf Life
Two years in the original, unopened packaging at 25°C.
