Product Application
WANAMINE® MDA‑100H is an aromatic diamine compound containing more than 99.5 % of 4,4’‑methylenedianiline and a small amount of 2,4’‑methylenedianiline, with a molecular weight of 198.26. It appears as white or pale‑yellow solid at room temperature.
WANAMINE® MDA‑100H is an important chemical intermediate. Besides its primary use for manufacturing MDI and HMDI, it is widely applied in producing electrical‑insulating materials such as polyimide (PI) insulating varnish, polyester‑imide (PEI) insulating varnish and bismaleimide resin. It can also serve as a curing agent for epoxy resins and a chain extender for polyurethane elastomers. Products synthesized from MDA exhibit excellent mechanical properties, electrical insulation, high‑temperature resistance, radiation resistance and abrasion resistance.

Storage Precautions
Store WANAMINE® MDA‑100H in a dry, well‑ventilated and dark warehouse. Protect against heat exposure and oxidation. Avoid package damage, direct sunlight and rain exposure during transportation.
Shelf‑Life
Under specified storage conditions, the shelf‑life of WANAMINE® MDA‑100H is 12 months from the date of manufacture. Products beyond shelf‑life may still be used if inspection results meet the technical specifications herein.
