WANNATE® HTBL‑275MS is a blocked polyisocyanate. It consists of 75% 3,5‑dimethylpyrazole‑blocked HDI polymer, 17% No. 100 aromatic hydrocarbon solvent, and 8% propylene glycol methyl ether acetate (PMA). It is a light yellow transparent liquid at room temperature with a slight pungent odor.

WANNATE® HTBL‑275MS is mainly used to formulate light‑stable one‑component polyurethane baking coatings; it also acts as an additive in conventional baking systems to improve film flexibility and adhesion. The coatings exhibit excellent chemical resistance, weatherability, outstanding gloss retention, and superior mechanical properties.
Coating systems formulated with WANNATE® HTBL‑275MS are suitable for baking applications, including automotive OEM coatings, can coatings, coil coatings, metal baking finishes, etc.

Storage & Handling Precautions
Store in a cool, dry, well‑ventilated warehouse. Keep away from heat, sparks, and open flames. Keep containers tightly closed. Store separately from oxidizing agents, acids, alkalis, alcohols, and food‑grade chemicals; do not store together.
Recommended storage temperature: 0 – 30 °C.
WANNATE® HTBL‑275MS is generally miscible with the following solvents, but stability of the prepared solution must be tested. It can be diluted with ketones, esters, and ether esters to 40 wt% solids. Its dilutability with aromatic hydrocarbons is limited; solids content shall not be lower than 60% when diluted with aromatic hydrocarbon solvents. Aliphatic hydrocarbons are not suitable as diluents.
Compatibility
WANNATE® HTBL‑275MS is generally compatible with polyester polyols, polyether polyols, and polyacrylates. Compatibility of the formulated solution must be tested.
Shelf Life
This product is moisture‑sensitive. Under cool and dry conditions (0 – 30 °C) in the original sealed container, elevated storage temperature will cause increase in viscosity and color number. With proper storage, the shelf life is at least 6 months.
