Carfil® 9241NP is a non‑ionic polyurethane thickener for thickening various aqueous systems. It is especially suitable for emulsions, creams, color cosmetics, hair care and other fields. Carfil® 9241NP is a high‑efficiency pseudoplastic thickener, which can effectively increase the medium‑shear viscosity of aqueous systems. As a primary thickener, it provides good leveling and anti‑sagging performance. Desired balance between medium‑shear and high‑shear viscosity can be achieved when used in combination with Carfil 9240. Carfil® 9241NP delivers good color paste stability and is suitable for color cosmetic applications.

 

Carfil® 9241NP features favorable environmental‑friendly properties: low VOC and low odor. It is free of organotin compounds, alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEO) and any organic solvents.

 

Biocide: Phenoxyethanol 6500‑7500 ppm. Attention shall be paid to the deactivation effect of other formulation ingredients and pH value on biocide during application.

The shelf life of this product is nine months starting from the production date.
