Unicap TA66

Unicap® TA66 is an anionic hydrophobically‑modified alkali‑swollen thickener. It is compatible with surfactant systems of varying concentrations and works effectively for hard‑to‑thicken formulations, including systems with high AEO and soap content yet low overall surfactant loading. It delivers synergistic thickening effect with electrolytes.It provides excellent rheological performance for home‑care products and is applicable to various formulation systems such as fabric care, surface care and dish‑washing cleaners.

Unicap® TA66 is a low‑viscosity liquid thickener for easy addition. This polymer can be incorporated at any stage of formulation. For faster dissolution, it is recommended to dilute the product with an equal amount of water prior to slow addition.

 

Recommended procedure: After surfactants are fully dissolved in water, add pre‑diluted Unicap® TA66 (diluted 1:1 with water). Then adjust system pH to the target value (generally neutral to alkaline), at which point viscosity increases significantly. Electrolytes may be added for synergistic thickening effect, followed by addition of other auxiliary agents.

 

Recommended dosage: 1‑3 % by weight of the formulation (as‑supplied basis). The exact loading shall be determined according to target viscosity requirements of the system.

The shelf life of this product is twelve months starting from the production date. For materials exceeding the shelf‑life period, performance evaluation prior to use is recommended.Seal container immediately after each withdrawal. Use up promptly once the package is opened.
