Closed-cell structure
The closed cell structure of polyurethane rigid foam can effectively prevent water vapor penetration and enhance the thermal insulation and waterproof properties of the foam; at the same time, the cell wall acts as a foam support skeleton and can provide higher compression and tensile strength.
Flame retardancy
Rigid polyurethane foam is a thermosetting material. It carbonizes when exposed to fire to form a protective layer without producing molten droplets. According to standard requirements, polyurethane foam with flame retardant added will not promote the spread of fire.
Thermal insulation
The thermal conductivity of rigid polyurethane foam can be as low as 0.017W/ (m.K), and it has a closed-cell rate of more than 95%. Its excellent closed-cell structure can effectively reduce the three major heat transfer pathways of convection, conduction, and radiation, thereby maintaining stable heat resistance for a long time.
Self-adhesion
Rigid polyurethane foam belongs to the “microporous infiltration” foaming, which can penetrate into the microscopic pores on the surface of the base layer and quickly start to solidify at an expansion ratio of several to dozens of times, forming a firm bite with the base layer in a microscopic form, greatly increasing the bonding area and significantly improving the pull-out strength.
Durability
Rigid polyurethane foam can be used for a long time in an environment as low as -200℃, and has excellent aging resistance. The performance of polyurethane used in cold storage, refrigerated trucks, and refrigerated equipment can remain stable for a long time.
Dimensional stability
Isocyanate and polyol form a cross-linked network structure during the reaction, so that the foam is dimensionally stable after molding and will not deform over time.
Compression resistance
Rigid polyurethane foam can form an insulation layer with a compressive strength of more than 550 KPa, which can meet the compression requirements of various load-bearing floors and roofs.
Mold resistance
Rigid polyurethane foam has stable chemical properties and low water absorption, which can effectively prevent mold caused by water vapor penetration. Ensure food safety in cold storage.

Wanhua Wanefoam®6011 is a product specially developed for cold storage floor insulation, with a compressive strength of up to 550KPa (250KPa can meet the compressive strength requirements of all types of cold storage floors). The unique full-coverage spraying process can effectively prevent the penetration of underground water vapor, ensuring that the normal operation of the cold storage will not be affected by condensation and icing caused by water vapor erosion during long-term use. Wanhua Wanefoam®6012 and Wanefoam®6013 series products are suitable for thermal insulation spraying construction on the floor, wall, ceiling and roof of various types of cold storage. The thickness required to achieve the same thermal insulation requirements is thinner and the space utilization rate is greater. The on-site spraying process can achieve 100% seamless bonding between the thermal insulation layer and the base layer, completely eliminating the cold bridge and “hot bridge” phenomenon formed by a large number of bonding seams in traditional thermal insulation materials.

Notes
During on-site foaming, the center temperature of the foam can reach 140℃. To avoid foam core burning, the spraying thickness should be controlled during construction and sprayed layer by layer. Years of research have confirmed that when the thickness of a single gun is 25-40mm, the foam square rate and various properties can achieve the best balance. It is recommended that the single thickness should not exceed 40mm.
Cyanide moisture-proof and vapor-proof material

Wanshield®9503 two-component environmentally friendly cyanogen coagulant is a solvent-free, high-solid content polyurethane polymer material. It is cured into a film through the reaction of components A and B to form a moisture-proof and vapor-proof layer with strong adhesion. After curing, the two-component environmentally friendly cyanogen coagulant forms a uniform film. The paint film has good compatibility with polyurethane foam, good bonding strength and moisture-proof and vapor-proof properties, and has good chemical resistance.
