What is GMP?
GMP, in Chinese, means “production quality management specification” or “good operating specification” or “good manufacturing standard”. GMP is a set of mandatory standards applicable to the pharmaceutical, food and other industries, requiring enterprises to meet the sanitary quality requirements in accordance with relevant national laws and regulations in terms of raw materials, personnel, facilities and equipment, production process, packaging and transportation, quality control, etc., and forming a set of operational operating specifications to help enterprises improve the sanitary environment of enterprises, timely discover problems in the production process and improve them.
