Description

Product Introduction

WANEFOAM® 9028 is a solvent-free two-component polyurethane adhesive base resin. It features low viscosity, high bonding strength and fast curing speed.

The reactive component of this base resin consists of hydroxyl-containing compounds, designed to be used together with curing agent WANNATE® 2208.

Product Application

WANEFOAM® 9028 two-component polyurethane adhesive effectively improves the bonding strength between polyurethane core material and color steel sheet in polyurethane sandwich panels. With high bonding performance, it is widely used in the production of polyurethane sandwich panels and related products.

Prior to formal use, compatibility tests must be conducted to ensure the reliability of the product system in specific engineering applications.

Application Precautions

WANEFOAM® 9028 is suitable for spin coating, dripping, low-pressure spraying, blade coating and other construction processes. Before use, check the delivery flow and mixing pressure of the dispensing equipment for base resin and curing agent.

The surface of substrates to be bonded must be clean and dry.

The working site shall be a fire-prohibited and well-ventilated area, kept away from ignition sources; smoking is strictly forbidden. Hot work is only permitted after official approval, with dedicated safety measures and on-site supervision in place.

The buyer must perform pre-construction tests under identical actual construction conditions to verify system reliability. Formal construction shall be deemed as acceptance of product performance by the buyer. Any consequences arising from non-compliance with operating regulations shall be borne by the buyer.

Storage & Handling Instructions

Store WANEFOAM® 9028 in tightly sealed containers to prevent moisture absorption. Keep containers dry and sealed during transportation and storage.

Store hermetically in a cool, ventilated place at 5~35°C room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight and long-term storage above 40°C, which may cause massive blowing agent volatilization and degrade product performance.

Shelf Life

Under proper storage conditions, the shelf life of WANEFOAM® 9028 polyurethane adhesive is 6 months from the production date. Expired product may still be used if it passes retesting.

Safety Precautions

Direct contact with WANEFOAM® 9028 may cause moderate eye irritation, slight skin irritation and skin sensitization. Repeated inhalation of high-concentration vapor may trigger respiratory allergy. Seek medical attention immediately for anti-inflammatory and anti-allergy symptomatic treatment.

Wear protective gloves, goggles, work clothes and other personal protective equipment during operation to avoid skin contact and eye splashing.

In case of skin or eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water for at least 15 minutes; wash the skin thoroughly with soap water and seek medical assistance if necessary. In case of accidental ingestion, seek immediate medical treatment.

Fire & Explosion Hazard

This product is not classified as hazardous goods, including flammable liquid, explosive, oxidizer, corrosive, toxic or radioactive materials.

Fire Extinguishing Media: Carbon dioxide, foam or dry chemical powder. If no other media is available, spray with large amounts of water mist. Clean up spilled materials immediately after fire suppression.

Fire Fighting Procedure: Standard personal fire protection measures apply.

Spill Disposal

Small spills can be flushed away with water. For large spills, contain and recover the material; clean contaminated ground with water or detergent. Waste disposal shall comply with local environmental protection regulations.
