Wanhua Energy Conservation helps the renovation of old urban communities across the country

Recently, the Green Community Committee of the China Building Energy Conservation Association announced the “National List of Innovative Recommended Technologies and Products for the Renovation of Old Urban Communities”, and the relevant products developed by Wanhua Energy Conservation were on the list. Among them, the “PRR polyurethane modified rock wool composite board” and “PRF rock wool composite polyurethane fireproof insulation board” independently developed and produced by Wanhua Building Technology were listed in the list of innovative recommended products, and the “a flame-retardant polyurethane spray hard foam plastic” developed by Wanhua Energy Conservation Technology (Yantai) was also successfully shortlisted.

Policies are favorable and the trend of the times

Since the implementation of the housing reform policy in 1998, China’s real estate has begun to transform in the direction of commercialization and marketization. Now, with the rapid development of urbanization in my country, China’s real estate industry has entered the era of land inventory, and the transformation of inventory assets has obviously become the main theme of urban development.

The Party Central Committee and the State Council have always attached great importance to the renovation of old urban communities. General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly emphasized the need to strengthen urban renewal and the transformation and upgrading of existing housing, and to do a good job in the renovation of old urban communities.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, 19,000 old urban communities were renovated nationwide in 2019, 39,000 new urban communities were renovated in 2020, and the 2021 “Government Work Report” proposed the construction and renovation of 53,000 new urban communities, and the renovation of all old communities built before 2000 must be completed before the end of the “14th Five-Year Plan”. As a major livelihood project and development project that concerns the interests of hundreds of millions of people, the renovation of old urban communities is progressing steadily and orderly.
