WANNATE TT-550B

WANNATE® TT-550B is an aromatic polyisocyanate based on toluene diisocyanate. It is colorless or slightly yellowish, liquid at room temperature, and has a solvent-like odor. It is supplied at approximately 50% in butyl acetate.

Store WANNATE® TT-550B in a cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flames. Keep containers tightly closed. Store separately from oxidizing agents, acids, alkalis, alcohols and food chemicals, and avoid mixed storage.

 

WANNATE® TT-550B can be diluted with ester, ketone and aromatic solvents such as ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, methyl isobutyl ketone, cyclohexanone, toluene, xylene, etc. It is generally miscible well with the above solvents, but the storage stability of the prepared solution must be tested. Different storage conditions may result in different storage stability. Use urethane-grade solvents (water content < 0.05%, free of reactive groups such as hydroxyl or amino groups).

 

Solutions with low resin content may become cloudy or precipitate after long-term storage.

 

WANNATE® TT-550B is generally compatible with aliphatic polyisocyanates, aromatic polyisocyanates, polyether polyols and polyacrylates. However, the compatibility of the formulated solution must be tested.

 

This product is sensitive to moisture. It is recommended to store in the original sealed container. Recommended storage temperature: 0 °C to 30 °C. Storage at elevated temperatures will increase viscosity.Under proper storage conditions, the shelf life is at least 9 months.
