Aquolin 269

Product Description

Aquolin® 269 is a water‑dispersible isocyanate curing agent based on hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). It is combined with water‑borne polyurethane, polyacrylate and other materials for applications in water‑borne coatings and adhesives. Mixtures incorporated with Aquolin® 269 must be used within the pot‑life.

Storage

Store in a dark, cool and dry location within 5‑35 °C with hermetically intact packaging. The shelf‑life is twelve months from the date of production. Performance evaluation is recommended before use if the shelf‑life has expired. Strictly protect the product against frost.

Water‑dispersible isocyanate curing agents are highly moisture‑sensitive. They react with water to generate carbon dioxide gas and urea. Carbon dioxide build‑up may raise container pressure and create hazards. Keep containers tightly sealed to prevent ingress of moisture in any form. Use up promptly once packaging is opened.
