Aquolin 270
Product Description
Aquolin® 270 is a water‑dispersible isocyanate curing agent based on hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). It is combined with water‑borne polyurethane, polyacrylate and other materials for applications in water‑borne coatings and adhesives. Mixtures incorporated with Aquolin® 270 must be used within the pot‑life.
Aquolin® 270 may be diluted with solvents such as propylene glycol methyl ether acetate (PMA), propylene glycol diacetate (PGDA), butyl acetate, etc. Urethane‑grade solvents (water content < 0.05 %) are recommended for dilution, and practical tests shall be performed prior to use.

Storage
Store in a dark, cool and dry location within 5‑35 °C with hermetically intact packaging. The shelf‑life is 12 months from the date of production. Performance evaluation is recommended before use if the shelf‑life has expired. Strictly protect the product against frost.
Water‑dispersible isocyanate curing agents are highly moisture‑sensitive. They react with water to generate carbon dioxide gas and urea. Carbon dioxide build‑up may raise container pressure and create hazards. Keep containers tightly sealed to prevent ingress of moisture in any form. Use up promptly once packaging is opened.
