Antkote 2057

Antkote® 2057 is a hydroxyl‑functional acrylic dispersion for water‑borne metal baking enamels. It can be combined with amino resins or blocked isocyanates to prepare high‑gloss water‑borne baking enamels, especially aluminum‑flake baking enamels, and is suitable for wheel hubs, electric tricycles and other fields.Approximately 37 % dispersed in water / propylene glycol butyl ether solution at a ratio of 56:7. The neutralizer is N,N‑dimethylethanolamine, which has been bonded as salt.

The shelf life of this product is six months starting from the production date. For materials exceeding the shelf‑life period, performance evaluation prior to use is recommended.This product must be fully protected against frost. After opening the package, appropriate filtration is required before use, and the product shall be consumed as soon as possible.

 

The viscosity of this product is mainly affected by pH value. The pH value may decrease during storage, accompanied by a drop in product viscosity. The viscosity can be readjusted back to its initial value by adding a small amount of 10 % aqueous N,N‑dimethylethanolamine solution.
