Antkote 2043

Antkote® 2043 is a hydroxyl‑functional acrylic dispersion specially designed for general‑industrial baking enamels. It can be formulated with amino resins or blocked isocyanates to produce high‑performance baking enamels. It can also be combined with isocyanate curing agents to prepare water‑borne two‑component polyurethane coatings.Approximately 44 % dispersed in water / solvent naphtha 100 / propylene glycol butyl ether solution at a ratio of 46:4:4. The neutralizer is N,N‑dimethylethanolamine with dosage <2 wt%, which has been bonded as salt.

The shelf life of this product is six months starting from the production date. For materials exceeding the shelf‑life period, performance evaluation prior to use is recommended.This product must be fully protected against frost. After opening the package, appropriate filtration is required before use, and the product shall be consumed as soon as possible.

 

The viscosity of this product is mainly affected by pH value. The pH value may decrease during storage, accompanied by a drop in product viscosity. The viscosity can be readjusted back to its initial value by adding a small amount of 10 % aqueous N,N‑dimethylethanolamine solution.
