Vesmody® U605A is a high-efficiency pseudoplastic nonionic polyurethane thickener. It effectively raises the medium-shear viscosity of waterborne systems, greatly improves the application performance of formulas and enhances storage stability. When used in combination with Vesmody® U300, it achieves an ideal balance between medium-shear and high-shear viscosity, suitable for architectural coatings and industrial coatings.Solvents: Water, Butyl Diethylene Glycol EtherBiocide System: CMIT/MIT (3:1) at 10 ppm and MIT at 200 ppm.

Vesmody® U605A is a free-flowing liquid for easy addition. It can be added directly during paint letdown stage or after pre-dilution.Due to varying characteristics and dosage requirements of different emulsions, the addition amount of Vesmody® U605A shall be adjusted according to the target application viscosity of finished products. The recommended dosage is 0.1–2.0% by mass of the total formula (calculated as supplied). The exact loading should be confirmed via pre-formulation trials prior to mass production.

 

Store in a dark, cool and dry location with storage temperature maintained between 5 °C and 35 °C, and keep packaging intact. The shelf life of this product is twelve months counting from the production date. Performance evaluation is recommended prior to use if the shelf life has expired.Seal the container tightly immediately after each use, and consume the material as soon as possible once the package is opened.
