“Container Housing Quality Acceptance Standard” successfully passed the expert review!

Recently, the Integrated Housing Branch of the China Construction Metal Structure Association organized a review meeting for the CECS standard “Container Housing Quality Acceptance Standard” (Draft for Review) (hereinafter referred to as the “Standard”) in Beijing. Tang Yajun, Director of the Technical Standards Department of the China Construction Standardization Association, Dong Chao, Secretary-General of the Steel Structure Branch of the China Engineering Construction Standardization Association, Sun Xiaoyan, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Construction Metal Structure Association and President of the Building Steel Structure Branch, Dong Chun, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Integrated Housing Branch, Zhou Yu, Vice President of the Building Steel Structure Branch, and 16 members of the review team attended the meeting. Wanhua Construction Technology Co., Ltd. was the co-editor, and the company’s chief engineer Zhao Kun was invited to attend.

The review expert group, led by Professor Luo Yongfeng of Tongji University and Professor Zhang Ailin of Beijing University of Technology, reviewed the content of the Standard chapter by chapter and article by article. Through questioning and discussion, they gave the review opinions: The compilation of the Standard has made comprehensive provisions for the quality acceptance of container houses, which has guiding significance for the quality acceptance of container houses; it complies with the provisions for the compilation of engineering construction standards, and the submitted materials are complete and meet the review requirements; the content is scientific and reasonable, highly operational, coordinated with the current relevant standards, and the comprehensive technology has reached the international advanced level. The review experts unanimously agreed that the Standard passed the review.

This standard is another major progress of Wanhua Building Technology in promoting the standardization of modular integrated building quality acceptance after participating in the “Technical Standards for Temporary Camp Facilities for Construction Projects”. As a highly prefabricated assembled building, modular building has the characteristics of standardization, integration and industrialization, which is highly consistent with the strategic development direction of Wanhua modular integrated building industrialization, intelligence and greening. As a co-editor, we hope to promote the supervision and acceptance of the new prefabricated industrialized construction industry towards higher levels of sustainability, efficiency, quality, safety and social responsibility goals through new acceptance processes and standards.
