Vesmody A401

Vesmody® A401 is an anionic hydrophobically‑modified alkali‑swollen thickener. It can effectively improve the medium‑shear viscosity, flow property and leveling performance of the system. It can be used alone or in combination with other thickeners in latex paint formulations, and shows good compatibility with various emulsions.Solvent: Water.Biocide: (CMIT/MIT = 3:1) 0.049 ‰.

Vesmody® A401 is a low‑viscosity liquid thickener for easy addition. Prior to addition, adjust the system pH to 8‑9, then dilute the product with water at 1:4 ratio and add slowly.Due to varying characteristics and dosages of different emulsions, the dosage of Vesmody® A401 shall be adjusted according to the target viscosity of the final product. Recommended dosage is 3‑5 % by weight of the formulation (as‑supplied basis). The exact loading shall be determined by pre‑tests before paint‑matching.

 

 

Manufacturer: Wanhua Chemical Group Co., Ltd.Store in a dark, cool and dry location with storage temperature maintained between 5°C and 35°C, and keep packaging intact. The shelf life of this product is 12 months starting from the production date. For materials exceeding the shelf‑life period, performance evaluation prior to use is recommended.Seal container immediately after each withdrawal. Use up promptly once the package is opened.
