Antkote 2025

Antkote® 2025 is a hydroxyl‑functional acrylic dispersion for anti‑corrosion topcoats on metals. It can be formulated with isocyanate curing agents to prepare water‑borne two‑component polyurethane coatings. It can also be combined with amino resins and blocked isocyanates to produce water‑borne one‑component baking enamels.Approximately 43 % dispersed in water / propylene glycol butyl ether / diethylene glycol butyl ether solution at a ratio of 48:3.5:3.5. The neutralizer is N,N‑dimethylethanolamine with dosage <2 wt%, which has been bonded as salt.

The shelf life of this product is six months starting from the production date. For materials exceeding the shelf‑life period, performance evaluation prior to use is recommended.This product must be fully protected against frost. After opening the package, appropriate filtration is required before use, and the product shall be consumed as soon as possible.

 

The viscosity of this product is mainly affected by pH value. The pH value may decrease during storage, accompanied by a drop in product viscosity. The viscosity can be readjusted back to its initial value by adding a small amount of 10 % aqueous N,N‑dimethylethanolamine solution.
