Adwel 1645

Adwel® 1645 is an anionic aliphatic waterborne polyurethane dispersion intended for heat-activated waterborne polyurethane adhesives. It adheres to various substrates and is widely used in shoemaking and other industries. When formulated with appropriate dosage of Wanhua water-dispersible isocyanate curing agent Aquolin® 161, its bonding strength, heat resistance and water resistance can be significantly enhanced.Solvent: Acetone < 1%. This product contains no alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEO), organotin compounds or organic amine neutralizers.Biocide loading: 49 ppm CMIT/MIT (3:1 blend) and 100 ppm MIT.

The shelf life of this product is six months counting from the production date. A full performance evaluation is required prior to use once the shelf life expires.Recommended storage temperature range: 5–35°C. Storage below 5°C will cause viscosity increase or irreversible damage to the product. Long-term storage under high temperature may degrade product performance and trigger sedimentation or coagulation.Store away from light and keep packaging intact; otherwise, water evaporation will form a surface film on the product.Skinning and caking are unavoidable during storage and transportation due to the film-forming property of the product, so filtration must be performed before use.
